"I arrived in Paris on October 12th, 1960 ... As a witness of the most significant art movements in the 20th century - including the kinetic art movement started by my father Carlos Cruz-Diez - I participated throughout the way and worked behind the scenes since the 1960s ..." wrote Carlos Cruz-Diez Jr.* for his 2015 dialogue tour 'Technology and Art, Architecture and Art' in China.
CARLOS CRUZ-DIEZ JR. is the eldest son of Carlos Cruz-Diez. Carlos Cruz-Diez is one of the pioneers in the Kinetic-optic art movement. Cruz-Diez Jr. is also the CEO of Cruz-Diez Foundation. This year, he has returned to China for a dialogue tour at major Chinese universities and will share his over 40 years of experience whilst working alongside the great artist and his father Carlos Cruz-Diez. He will also explain his digital technique inventions which have assisted the appliance of his father's concept of chromatics onto what we see now as 'art' and his role in the process of making art.
