In collaboration with Linden Centre, Dali, Yun'nan, a two-week long Josh Hadar residency programme began from October 18th, 2017. During the two weeks in the scenic Dali, Linden Centre kindly arranged different activities which allowed the artists to experience authentic Chinese culture by creating a sculptural piece inspired by its culture.
Inspired by a scene of local ethnic minority Bai women havesting rice, artist Josh Hadar designed and constructed the piece -made entirely of scrap metal and found parts- with students from the Dali Technician College.
